Blu Prime Steakhouse is seeking a talented and passionate Sous Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food preparation, and maintaining a positive and efficient work environment. Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Chef in menu planning, recipe development, and food presentation.
- Supervise kitchen staff and ensure all team members are trained in food preparation techniques and safety standards.
- Manage shift operations, including delegating tasks and ensuring timely service during peak hours.
- Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in compliance with health regulations.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to create innovative dishes that enhance the dining experience.
- Provide support in bartending duties as needed, ensuring quality beverage service.
- Help maintain high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in food service with a strong background in cooking and kitchen management.
- Excellent leadership abilities to effectively supervise staff and manage shifts.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also taking initiative when necessary.
- Proficient in inventory management practices to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Must have experience and knowledge in baking and bakery production.
- The ability to continue learning under our Executive Chef, while also being able to lead by example in a hands on capacity.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year
